Bug Submission Form

  

This is a form to collect information about gameplay issues only and you will not receive a reply. If you need help with your game, search the Forum (BBS) for answers or check customer support.

By giving us clear and reproducible steps about the gameplay issues you've been having and by sharing details about your system specifications with us we hope to address the issues that are important you.

To get your system specs please use the following:

  • Run dxdiag
    Go to Start --> Run --> and type dxdiag
     
Game causing the bug

(Right click on a desktop shortcut, select properties, select "Find Target", then you can right click on the .exe, select properties, and click the version tab.)

Please write reproducible steps and/or give details about your issue (4000 characters max.)
Upload your DXDiag info here
Go to Start? Run? and type dxdiag? After the dialog box pops up, hit the "Save All Information" button and save your DXDiag.txt file to your local computer. Upload this DXDiag.txt file here.

On an XP system, you can find saved games here:
C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\My Documents\SimCity Societies\Videosettings.xml

On a Vista system, you can find video settings here:
C:\Users\username\Documents\SimCity Societies\ Videosettings.xml
If a Mod from the Exchange gave you problems, please list the URL (link) of the Mod here:
If you are having trouble with a particular saved game, use the browse button to find your save file for upload.
The save game file will have the name of your save followed by .scs.

On an XP system, you can find saved games here:
C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\My Documents\SimCity Societies\User Data\*profile name*\Save Games

On a Vista system, you can find saved games here:
C:\Users\username\Documents\SimCity Societies\User Data\*playername*\Save Games
If you have a .jpg screenshot that illustrates a problem you are having, use the browse button to find your screenshots (.jpg files accepted only).
Screenshots taken by pressing Printscreen during game play are saved as .jpg files.
