Our third issue!!! This is a great thank you, deticated to all our loyal fans out their and to Simcity Societies. For the past issues I have been doing cities other than my own, and I promise to keep documenting other poeples great stories, but, for the first time ever I will be documenting my own cities.
Ourad Courthouse, Coradelphia, Yorkshire. Though this small city, of mix small town and city origins, feels right at rest, right next to the border with JoshMaul Empire, their is a bit of peace with in the city. Currently, it has been just over a month since the loss over of Yorshire's formor capital, New Yorkia. Finally their seems to be a sence of contentment falling above the country.
This is the city of Coradelphia. The Town Hall lays home to the cities three sentors. Notice that the Hall is all but, active. This is because the countries senators have all been called to the new capitol, Learton, to help discuss the fate of the country.
This is the residential area of Ourad. Resting just below Ourad Hill, the name seems appropriate. The city is highly spread apart, but, is in one central union. Constantly taking refugee's from across the border, the local law enforcement seems to handle the immigration very well. But, the cities continued lower class build up is hurting "Big Buisness" in Coradelphia.
Vixen Uni. rests on the banks of the Vixen River. This small college has a huge environmental influence. The say-so of any executive in the college is powerful enough to change the opinion of any Yorkshirian Senators in seconds. This very college said the smog levels in Bayton were raising, months later, Nuclear power plants went up in the city, as well as, a brand new bus line. Proving that this is a very distinguished University.
As well as sending the country tword a cleaner environment, they are also responsible for moving Coradelphia safely to a crime free, carbon safe way of living.
Though few people know what happened in New Yorkia just over a month ago, one thing is for sure, 15,000 people didn't just up a disappear. But, the government has released documents about that cataclysmic event.
Though this is just a small farming community, it is where we end our story and move to another community of refugee's our eastern border with the JoshMual Empire...
The small country of Yorkshire has many sights to behold. Our next city was cut in half after a battle with the JoshMual Empire. Crimson River rests right on the border with JoshMual. This city is now the Fourth largest city in Yorshire. But, before half the city was lost, This city was larger than the capitol. Ladies and Gentlemen I am proud to give Crimson River!!!
Ahh, so, peaceful. Or at least it is now. Welcome to the small suburban of Greet. Greet lies right on the border. JoshMual's troops once held this lovely residential area as a forward command post during the Mualian Wars just ten years ago. But, the community has been rebuilt back to its former glory.
Here (on the other side of Greet) is where the Regional Defense Building stands. After the Mualian Wars the Bureaucracy Office's were remodeled to serve as the governments first defense during invasion. Every Strategist, General, and President has been here at one point or another. Also, those lights on the buildings, every town on the eastern border has Air-Raid Lights such as those.
A view looking across the Bricktion Bridge from the Defense Building. Though the town is considered safe, the 109th Demolition Unit is stationed here. In case of invasion, it would be their job to blow the bridge. The Is. across the bridge is Crimson Island. Which is where the majority of the city is now located.
But, before crossing the bridge, we will visit the Hampton Race Course. Right now the track preparing for the 50th running of the Border Derby. Across the street is the Border Hotel, which is a primer Five-Star Casino. Tonight it is hosting the Crimson Poker Tournament.
Though the Hotel is a premier attraction in its own, the border is only a stones throw away.
This photograph shows the stricken Stock St. If your on the road, your in Crimson River, but, if your in the grass, JoshMualian Snipers rest right at the top of the hill...
The ConCourse Motel at the corner of Stock St. As mentioned earlier, the city was twice as large as it is now. The building on the right side of this street were destroyed by JoshMualian forces in a show of force. 25 Buildings fell killing a suspected 3000 people trapped in side.
To the North of the Hampton Race Track is the small community of Shay Derby. Many Refugees live in Shay Derby, working as maids or chiefs for the families of the "Wealthy Homes." The unlucky residents try to make the best out of what they got. Still Dive Bars dot the area, making it to be the only "Slum" area in the city.
Moving across the Bricktion Bridge we come to the Sherman Intersection, which controls most of the traffic during rush hour. The Delect Watershed holds fresh water for the citizens during catastrophe (or invasion).
Skipping to the Wast Side of the Island we see the Sherman Catholic Church. Though, the country is so culturally diverse it's crazy, their is no conflicts between faiths. And you are not obligated to be in church. But, you may have a minister knock on your door a little bit more than once in a while.
In the Southern Corner of the city is a small farming output. Recently Big Business has been moving into the area, but, ever since the Haddon Feild Stock Market Crash last year, the financial development has slowed to a standstill.
Just a quaint suburb on the west-side of Crimson Is. One great fact about Yorkshire is when we are not at war, they hold a great peace tword the people. Laws protect the weak and keep this economy running.
Being such a culturally diverse country, most would expect social segregation, but the country is surprisingly free. Free Trade, Business, and Health care are just a few of the "royalties" that Yorkshirian Citizens enjoy.
Though we're on the other side of the country, This City Hall is also inactive. The cities four senators are also at the capitol along with every other senator across the country, Minding to the buisness of government.
Notice the little "bridge" to the right of the Bricktion, it is actually a water tank. The Hampshire water tank stores fresh water from the river(one of the purest in the country).
An up-close view the defense offices...
Oil is rare on the Eastern Border of Yorkshire. In fact, this is the only well on the east side of the country.
This town hall houses the senators. But,the parliament building rests further on down Government St.
A view down Government street. The community of Brownslot, on the left, is home to Crimson J. Leer former President of Yorkshire.
Just behind Brownslot is the HQ of the Crimson Gazette, the best newspaper in the country of Yorkshire. Millions of copies are printed each day from printing presses spread clean across the country.
A picture looking out at the oil refinery. Though considered a eyesore. Many citizens have come to respect the role their city plays on the eastern side of the country.
As prevously mentioned, all major cities in the country run off Nuclear Power. But, every city runs off of some form of clean energy.
A view looking back at the city.
Here we are at Crimson College. This is a premier University if you would like to study pyrotechnics or engineering.
Many entertainments can be seen through out the college. From Drama Clubs to Bars, the area is also a great spot to just chill out and hang....
An overhead view of the college. Many fund raising groups are raising money to expand the college another eight acres. If you have a donation please call 1-800-COLLEGE.
The Regional Parlament building and Courthouse for the Eastern Providence of Yorkshire. Overall seventy-six senators come here and deliberate on regional problems.
This docters office was constructed after senator Henry H. Jays had a heart attack and died nearly on the spot. A tragic accident...
Now, after a long day of traveling we end our tour looking at the night sky of Crimson River, saying good bye and so long, for we move on to where it began....
Your probably wondering why we're not riding off into the sunset, it's because this tour ain't over. Head on along over to part two and see what's going down.
