Description: This is the Land of Noir. Noir is separated, by the Noir River, into two contrasting halves. West Noir is a rich, prosperous land full of wealth. East Noir, however, is a slummy, smoggy dump, where all of the goods that West Noir so actively consumes are made, in huge factories that rarely pay their workers. Trying to describe both these places with just words would be pointless, so take a look at it for yourself.

This is the National Tourism Board, located in scenic Noir City West, where we'll start our tour of Noir City, the capital of Noir. West Noir has a booming tourism buisiness, adding to its wealth and prosperity.
Here, you can see a video arcade on your left, and to your right (and a little in front of you) is a beauty salon. Makeovers are a big favorite in West Noir, with its consumer culture putting the pressure on women to be beautiful.
These are a few government buildings. The biggest one is the Federal Courthouse, which mediates disputes. The building above it is the Dept. of Public Works. Below it is the Dept. of Public Health. And to the left is the International Exchange (viewed from behind), another huge source of prosperity to West Noir.
These are the lowest-costing houses in West Noir. This is West Noir's cheapest (and worst) housing. But don't get me wrong. These are decent places to live. It's just that West Noir's people are used to a very high standard of living.
These McMansion-dominated suburbs are where most of the residents of West Noir live.
The building across the street in the distance is one of West Noir's many malls. West Noir is world-renowned for the quantity and quality of its malls. The much closer glass building is a botanical garden. In the middle, to your right, is a motorcycle shop.
This is the Noirdome, the largest sports stadium in West Noir. To its right, directly across the street, you see (top to bottom) the City Hall and the Treasury Department.
This is one of West Noir's casinos. Gambling is popular in West Noir, because everyone is so rich that they think that they can afford to throw their money away.
The tall towers that you see off in the distance are Sky Rise Apartments. They're only the latest high-tech luxury accomidations for the rich urban residents of Noir City. Also seen are the CyberCorp Housing towers. They're the ones without the decks.
